16:10 screens?

Does anyone make 16:10 screens? My buddy just got a HD73, and we think its best to run it in 16:10 mode so there is no upscaling or down scaling. However, we can't find anyone who makes a 16:10 screen. We tried searching the forum, but you can't search for a : so you can't search for 16:10 :/

Thanks in advance

?

all screen manufacturers will make any aspect ratio you want.

but wouldn't it be wiser to use what the standard is 16:9? I think you are confused. But if you're not I would still recommend a 16:9 screen and overscan the image if you are even capable of producing 16:10

The native resolution is 1280x768. We want to be able to run 720p (1280*720) with black bars at the top and bottom, and be able to run 1024x768 (from the computer) with black bars at the left and right. And we want to run both with no upscaling or downscaling. This is why he bought this projector as opposed to a projector that is 1280*720 native.

The settings of the pj say it can run in 16:9 or 16:10. I'm not sure why, as the true aspect ration of the native resolution is 15:9. We are under the impression that to have no scaling, its best to run it in 16:10. Is this correct?

Regarding the screen. We were looking for ready made screens, not to have one custom manufactured. We can't find one that is 16:10.

I've seen 16:10 somewhere.
You could also use a laminate (see the DIY forum) and cut it to 16:10.
