audio books

i guess i may as well make my intro here. found this site while shopping for tv last december but never joined. stumbled on it again when trying to read up on some speakers. so finally just decided to join...mainly b/c to use the search function. i probably wont be posting much, just going to be reading.

so with that out of the way, i was wondering if anyone know or can recommend some good audio books. i've been reading "intro to electro acoustics and audio amplifier design" by marshall leach. its decent book but kinda hard to read and gets into the math/theory a little too much. now im looking for something a little easier and for something to tie it all in together.

I can't suggest any books, but I'll be checking this thread to see if anybody else does.

A friend and colleague recently reminded me of a classic -- "Sound System Engineering," by Don and Caroyn Davis. This is a great book on a broad range of audio reproduction issues. While it is not math-free, there's nothing fancy, and the second chapter explains decibels with great clarity and lots of examples.

Regards,
Terry

thanks for link...
it looks like sound system engineering and intro to loudspeaker design will be the 2 i will try to get for now. hopefully, between those books and the forums, i will be able to somewhat understand some of these concepts.
