I have seldom seen anything as chilling as Christopher's attack on his co-writer with a Lucite plaque when Christopher thought that the guy was being disrespectful. Christopher, like the rest of Tony's crew, is a monster.
No question, they are all monsters.
But I think the writers are looking at it from another perspective.
The gamblers, addicts etc.. are who keep these monsters in business.
We have seen Christopher's writing buddy take beating after beating. Yet he still screws up and is at Christopher's mercy.
Same thing with the sporting goods guy from earlier in the show. Didn't Tony end up with the guys truck, and his store on seperate occasions?
I could see him doing it, remember he almost put a bullet in his head once. Tony was grooming Christopher to go to the top but he just kept failing him
Agreed. He has tried to give Christopher everything and he keeps screwing up. But Tony seems to have a soft spot for him, like his oldest son. Family is everything to Tony. I think since he considers Christopher part of his immediate family, he will not kill him.
In fact I could see Christopher taking advantage of Tony's nature toward him to get close enough to take out Tony.
