Cheap Vista ATSC Tuner Card

This seems like the ideal place to ask this question. I just purchased the Westinghouse 37" 1080P Monitor. I plan to use it as my PC monitor, but I am looking for a way to also receive digital/HDTV OTA broadcasts.

I thought about a set top tuner, but they seem to be more expensive than the cards. I don't really care about recording or the included software. QAM and FM are also not priorities, but would be a nice bonus.

I've seen people recommend the Air2PC cards for this purpose - will those work on Vista, and are there any other good options?

I have an AMD 3200+ with 1gb of ram and an ATI X800, so those are my hardware limitations.

Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Just Google for

PCI HDTV tuner

and you will probably get all that are available

Either of the Kworld cards (ATSC110 or 115) work well. The 115 includes an app to use the QAM tuner.

The Vbox Cats Eye 150 works perfectly in Vista out of the box (you'll need an antenna). Vista includes native drivers for it so it's pretty much plug and play.

Dont take this the wrong way, but???
Google is the most famous search engine out there, and many think the best. Go to "google.com". It can find almost anything you need, you can even type in error codes from your computer, and you will find many hits.

also don't take this the wrong way but this is one of the most common NOOB questions that have been asked hundres and hundres of times so please don't take offense when some one says "F##$#ing Google it"

also theres a simple "search" button at the top of this very forum and sticky threads as well to answer these questions.

Also check out www.hdtvtunerinfo.com

I spent hours researching on these forums, as well as on "google", before asking my question. There is obviously a lot of information out there, but it is generally incomplete and ignores the broader picture. I was hoping for some expert advice or direction (as I am a NOOB).

Thank you for your help, that site seems to be just what I'm looking for.
