Yup that is what I have heard as well. I am wondering if anyone has any insight on the specs of this unit. I had a B/B boy tell me that TFT would be a "Major" problem and that his display would not come close to the XBR 3 - what do you think / say?

Wait til someone gets one and the reviews come out.
This set probably won't be in too many stores.
There are a lot of good 52" LCD's for less than $5,999 MSRP.
(Sony, Sharp, Samsung.....)

I've had this set for about three weeks and have yet to do extensive calibration. But already, in my opinion, it is worth every cent. I do not know why they have not been professionally reviewed other than, perhaps, they are available through only a limited channel.
