I think most people will tell you, it depends on what you are looking for.

1) Pure output in 25-60Hz: HSU VTF-3HO
2) Bass Extension: HSU VTF-3HO
3) If you are looking for small size: Velodyne SPL-1200R
4) Box decor: Velodyne SPL-1200R (for me)
5) Sound quality: This is subjective and will be up to your ears.

Just curious, Tuan, how did you narrow your choices down to these two very different products? Oher than both being subwoofers, they are not at all alike.

Even if these were equal in value, from what I've read, I'd get the HSU VFT-3 HO!! Entension, power (db output) and articulation\ onality all seem to favor the HSU (at $600 less)!!!

I'd have the VFT-3 HO ordered right now if the footprint could fit my specific floor space limitations (20" sq.), but instead I'm gong with the well acclaimed Axiom EP500 v2 (about $200 more than the HSU, but will fit my setup better)!

Good Luck!
