Seems like RED is a popular color- does it effect your screen color calibration ?

I'm having a harder time with choosing a color scheme than anything else in my attempt to plan a theater build.

You are not alone. I had no problem finding a contractor, picking out all of my equipment (minus the screen), lending a helping hand with the construction, but I am still uncertain of a color scheme. I was thinking of a chocolate brown with french vanilla trim work.

Interior decorating isn't my strong suite. Lol

Best thing to do is find an existing theater you LIKE and copy the color scheme

Being a graphics designer by education and a “whatever media is popular” designer by occupation. Colors and overall design were easy for me. But then I guess my forum "name" alludes to that.

I knew I was going to have dark colored wood and brown microfiber chairs so out of the available colors that would of coordinated with that a dark red was my favorite.

It just depends on what you are looking to accomplish with the room and of course your budget
