Hi, I got a bit of a strange problem with my htpc and was wondering if anybody had a similar issue.
TV:
Sharp LC46D82
HTPC:
Windows Vista Ultimate
Antec fusion Case
512 Kingston ram ( yes I know, and im getting more )
AMD x2 3500 CPU
Asus M2NPV-VM ( currently using DVI to HDMI cable with the onboard Video)
1x 80gb for o/s driver 300gb for mp3 500gb for video.
I was running windows xp pro with media portal, and having some color issues with HD content so I decided to give Vista/media center a try. Installed the pc, updated all the appropriate drives. Everything seems to work fine in media center as long as you do not run it in full screen, in full screen it only displays a blank screen ( which you can alt-enter back to windowed mode from)
My TV is running at 1080P, windows looks pretty and all that good stuff, its just media center that seems to be giving issues.
I was thinking that it might be the video card isn't just cutting it for vista, but It seems strange that it was working with media portal just fine on windows xp pro.
Any insight is appreciated.
thanks,
Tacotime
