Depends on the music you ike, but I am happy with it. 93.9-2 has AAA music, while 106.7-2 and 98.7-2 have 80s rock. On AM, KDIS 1110 AM sounds good, as long as you don't mind hearing the same song every 20 minutes or so.

I've got the JVC deck and I must say Star 98.7-1 and 98.7-2 have the worst quality HD radio among all the LA stations. KROQ's stations sound pretty good along with KISS FM, KLOS, and JACK. LA has a ton of stations...check out Ibiquity's web site for more...

On my home system, I haven't noticed anything bad about KYSR. What are you hearing?

I am located in Los Angeles. So is the Sangean distribution center I work from. Let me know and I will setup the HDT-1 or HDT-1X for you to hear!

In my home in Alhambra I can receive ALL LA HD-FM stations, no drops, fades, missing anything. I also get ALL analog stations (FM). It is a beautiful thing.

STAR 98.7 is the weakest of all the HD signals in my area. I have also gone to the KROQ and JACK studios (both in same place). So far JACK is the best sounding HD-FM signal I have heard. Pristine. Even when the HD went down one afternoon I didn't notice the phase difference, and only noticed it when I looked at the radio (HDR-1 at low volume, too low to hear).

I have XM, and am sick of the awful SQ. I am thinking of putting HD in the car--How good is the SQ, and is the signal really that clean, or is there any interference?

I live in the West Hollywood, Beverly Hills area. i was wondering of anyone can comment on Indie 103.1 and how it sounds.

I can't help with the specific example, because I'm in NC. But the sound quality of HD on FM, even on HD2 and HD3 channels, is better than anything I've heard on XM, and I've subscribed to XM for five years.

When there's a classical or other station playing acoustic music (WNCW Spindale NC is a good example) at full bitrate (no multicasting), the quality is truly magnificent.
