Gary. Where do you live in KY. If its a 4 hour drive, it must be on the Va/KY line near the toe of VA? Near Breaks Interstate Park? That's about a 6 hr drive from my house in MD.

Cliffy oh Cliffy

Mark I put in the location when I was first informed of this and for some damn reason it told me 4.5 hours, I just checked Yahoo maps and it says 7.5 hours! WTF?

boy do I want to make it to this, it's gonna cut close with school if I can

Gary. What city are you near. SWA flights would be cheaper than driving 7 hours each way and someone will pick you up at Dulles or BWI depending on what you fly into. Hell I just flew RT from BWI to Louisviile and the RT flight was around $150. 2 hrs from gate to gate.

Look up and see how long it takes you to get to Winchester, VA. Winchester is about 35-45 minutes from here.

Along with the power conditioners, bring one of those SDI Pre-Modified Oppo DV-981HD with you.

7 Hours sounds about right I have driven it about 4 times. Ken if you swing by Pensacola FL let me know I'll take you out to dinner... Still stuck here...

Hey, I hope some of Y'all have booked Ken for a calibration while he's in this area. I only wish I had my setup finished.

I've had him to stop by a some years ago when he was in this area. And the thing that really made his visit special was his calibration thingy he uses to set the colors up with. I've seen a many device, but that was the first time I've seen a device that you stand in the rear of the room, or at the seating area and point it at the screen. And after he got finished, I'll never forget how the picture not only was perfectly color balanced, it seemed to somehow produce a punchier image. There was a snap to the image that I could get get with either of my two color devices.

Anyway, and this is for sure. When I do finish my setup, It won't be complete until I'm able to get Ken back out here to bring that special magic back to my screen.

May sounds great. A good friend of ours will probably be coming out then as well. Why don't I coordinate with you so both of you come together?

Sound good?

I wouldn't have it any other way. Ken is really able to make a CRT sing like no other.
