Can't Access Topic that I Posted to

Thread Starter
I received the usual notification that someone replied to a post of mine, and clicked on the link as usual, but this time I was presented with a strange message as follows:

Basspig, you do not have permission to access this page or post here. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Is your account awaiting activation? If you did not receive the activation e-mail after you registered, or changed your e-mail address, please CLICK HERE to request it to be resent to you. (Check your SPAM filters.)

You are trying to access a POWERBUY that has now ended.

Your e-mail address is not correct, or not valid, and you need to change it. Please CLICK HERE to enter into the USER CP area and update your e-mail address. (We suspend the account if so much e-mail bounces back. Spam filters? Old Address? ISP Blocking AVS Mail?)

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page or post to it. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? Or the post was moved into a private holding area.

You are you trying to post in the AVS Club area and are not a club member. CLICK HERE to become an AVS Forum Club Member.

The administrator may have disabled your account for abuse.

This is the notification e-mail I received:

Hello Basspig,

FatiusJeebs has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Doany True BD fans think HD DVD has any shot? - in the Blu-ray Players forum of AVS Forum.

This thread is located at:
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...0&goto=newpost

It seems rather mixed up to have these varying privilage levels where one day you participate in a discussion and another day you can't even read the thread. What happened here?

That message can happen when a thread has been pulled for cleanup/restore or pending review and in "thread purgatory". Off the top of my head I don't remember if it's the same messages as a permanently deleted thread.

Hope that helps!

Yes, it will pulled for the thread more or less was just, well, not needed and more or less started to make for issues.
