Got mine today. I did check it out-interesting clips.
It played flawlessly.
Exotic Salt Water Tank: Various salt water fish, corals in tanks. Picture is OK, but had difficulty focusing on the moving fish. probably the least sharp pics of the bunch.
Visions of the Sea: various critters coral reefs etc. Good photography nice sharp pic., nice colors . If you like this kind of photography and subject, its worth a buy.
Antarctica Dreaming: This was a surprise. I was just expecting more penguins, but this has some stunning scenery. Lots of the usual animals, but excellent pics as well. My wife saw this, and insisted we get it.
Serenity: not to be confused with the Universal movie. Music set to ocean waves, sunsets. Didn't do much for me.
Fireplace: I have the SD version. This is a better picture, but its basically a fireplace.
The Great Southwest: stunning photography of the southwest. Sharp pics, good colors. if this appeals to you, get it.
Stargaze 2: I have the SD. HD pics of Hubble telescope pics. The pics are stills, but you scan slowly across them, zoom in etc. very sharp nice pics, I'm on the fence about this one.
Hawaii: I have the SD. Sharp pic, but I'm not sure I'll get it. Note: The SD version has generic surf sound and such, that does not go with the pics.
A few tidbits from DVE as well.
All in all, i am impressed with the sampler. BTW, its a combo. I may pick up some of the discs.

I wasn't too crazy about the background music. For segments like Fireplace and Hawaii, I would have preferred the natural sounds of the environment, like the crackling of the fire and the ocean waves.

With the SD versions, you have the option of natual sounds, so I assume its n option on the HD versions.
