Draper Premier Tab Tension screen, dowel not centered

Thread Starter
I just installed a Draper Premier Tab Tension screen and noticed that the dowel (I think that is what Draper calls the counter weight) isn't centered on the screen. I have maybe 3 inches of dowel sticking out on the left side and about 1 inch on the right side. The screen seems to operate just fine but I would like to get this centered.

Is there a way to center this dowel on the screen?

I took a look at the manual for the screen and it does talk about adjusting the tab tensioning system (screw on the end of the dowel) but I think this is dealing with how tight the tension string is instead of moving the dowel side to side.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm sure they don't manufacture it that way--something like that might have happened in shipment. Suggest you contact Draper's customer service.
