If I were you I'd get an HD-A2 and a PS3 (or cheap Samsung with firmware) and sit tight for awhile. After all, how many of you are going to be happy when you spend, say, $800 on a G2 LG, if a year later Denon or someone else comes out with a universal player? I went through that with DVD, I had a samsung DVD, then a toshiba, then a progressive scan sony, and then a Pioneer Elite with DVD-A and SACD, and then a Denon 1910, and then finally a PS3 and HD-A2. See a trend here? I'd rather not go through so many steps, and to me the competition between the two formats has put the consumer in a favorable position right now from a pricing standpoint, considering how new these formats are, so I say buy now, be happy and sit tight until more of the cards fall. But, that's just my opinion, of course.
