I just need a basic, & hopefully easy to use camcorder.
I've decided against an HD version, & also against a hard drive machine.
For reasons I won't bother mentioning here, I'd prefer a Panasonic model.
I own a Panasonic DMR-ES20 DVD home recorder.
I'm considering the following model:
Panasonic Palmcorder DVD Camcorder with 2.7" Widescreen LCD Monitor
Model: VDR-D230 $404.99
Like it says in this posts title, I'm a total newbie. I looked at all the specs, & features on the model, and I'm still not sure if this one will take "still" pictures. which is a feature I definitely want. If someone here would be nice enough to look over the features & let me know for sure, It would be greatly appreciated.
Next issue: Mini Dvd Versus Full DVD ?
Is there a clear cut advantage either way ?
Obviously, there would be "space" savings with Mini, but do they have the same
recording capacity ?
Last Question: Would I be able to edit & finalize the discs on my DMR-ES20 ?
I'll paste the specs/features below & also a direct link to the model.
Thanks In Advance !!
Steve
