I'm glad somebody is still interested in this thread! Do you leave the transmitter on all the time? I was using a Smart Strip to turn it on/off, with the TV as the power controller. However, the speakers always make a rather loud pop sound, which I think is the result of the audio surge from the receiver when the receiver is turned on right after that. I've tried to program my remote to turn the receiver on about 3 seconds after the TV and the Rocketfish transmitter were on, but it did not eliminate the speakers pop. I leave the transmitter on all the time now, since delaying the receiver power on for more than 3 seconds makes the power on sequence too long to wait for. The white noise from the rear speakers is very low, I can't hear it anyway.
I'm interested to hear from others who experienced this pop sound and how to solve the problem.
