Okay you just got the MediaMVP, but you don't like the look of the default GUI. A programmer from Norwich made a new interface. I've just improved it for current version HAU Beta..

Should have this ready by sometime this week.. I'll post what I've done so far when it's fixed..

Very cool! It will definitely bring the MediaMVP to a new level of refinement! Can't wait to try it out.

Thanks Tipster!

I'm a bit unclear on what is needed to install this though. I'm currently using the MediaMVP Media Center like the one here:

http://www.mvpmc.org/index.php?pg=main

Do I have to open up the bin file to add this theme?

I found this on the FAQ:
http://www.mvpmc.org/index.php?pg=faq#q30

Does the exe automatically just put the .XML theme in the to /tmp/themes location?

To avoid any confusion this thread has nothing to do with mpvmc and it's support for ReplayTV or ReplayTV itself.

To avoid any more confusion it doesn't do anything to the mvpmc themes folder you are asking about.

Martin.

No this is for people who are using MediaMVP and want a different skin look and feel and some other features., I am not supporting MVPMC skin project. That's another project. I am just keeping this project started in 2005 going..

It's been tested. What that does it update the image folder and the main hau mediamvp folder with the tools needed to get the skid mods the way you see it. I don't know about MVPmc project someone else is working on that one. You really don't have to do anything except if you want to backup the mediamvp folder. Next time when I have a chance I'll great utility for you that will just do it.

I've been working on this just now, but it will be in the next release. I will include a small program that would allow you to choose which style you want, backup/restore prior or current MediaMVP Skin Mod your using. The above makes it easier to view your recordings. Use either CTPVR, GBPVR, SAGETV, BTV, to record then playback using MediaMVP MCE mode.
