Sony KDL-46V3000

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
Does anyone know the difference between the Sony KDL-46V2500 and the KDL-46V3000?

I have been trying to find the full specs on the 46V3000 but can't seem to find them anywhere. It is supposed to be out by this summer.

What has Sony added in the V3000 model over the V2500 model? How are these models different than the XBR3?

Does anyone have the full V3000 specs?

Thanks for your help.

Sony has been really lame about info so far. Most of what we know is derived from their press announcement about these models a couple months ago. Those of us waiting impatiently for the 2007 V-series have a thread going: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=801114

* Upscaling from standard def sources to full HD
* Ability to control devices via HDMI cable
* "Xross" media bar UI ripped from the Playstation 3
* 10-bits per pixel processing
* Unconfirmed: Motionflow 120-GHz tecnology? (If it doesn't, bye-bye Sony, hello Samsung...)

Oh, and hopefully they'd fix the famous backlight/cloud issues.
