Low-end Sony model as dedicated SACD player?

Do you want to play multi-channel music? If so, then bass and time delay management on the player itself is important as you have to use analogue connections between player and receiver. In addtion your player may have to level adjust each speaker if your receiver does not support it.

Your link does not give any information about this at all, but the above is critical for good multi-channel playback.

I use this player. Are you buying it used??? It has been out of production for a few years now. It has excellent sound and the bass management for SACD, DD and DTS. It very good IMHO for SACD and the dvd playback is good too.
