Hiyas folks I'm looking to get my first HDTV and the 4675s caught my eye. Could someone give me a quick list of the pros and cons from this family. Like pq, SD quality black level, annoying common defects ect.
The lack of response is due to the fact that 1) the HLTs are brand new, so nobody has had much time to evaluate, and 2) the pros and cons of DLP technology in general have been posted many, many times. Take a look at the HLT and HLS monster threads. Samsung DLPs are the most popular brand, and I expect the HLTs will be as good as previous models.
i have an hlt5075s. pros: great picture, adequate sound, 2 hdmi inputs, 2 component inputs, attractive cabinet and VERY slim, nice bright screen(though very slightly reflective). cons: mechanical overscan on all inputs, still lamp based.
