Just made my decision.
I went to ABT Electronics in Glenview, Illinois to see the performance of both Pioneer 5070 and Panna 600U. At the store they had both the sets connected via component cable and the image quality was sub-par on Pioneer and Pana. Though I went to a friends house who had the Pana connected via HDMI and the performance was fabulous, not to forget the screen real estate!
So she is getting shipped today and I shall have her by Friday. I will be posting pics once I open the box etc.
Pioneers are great too. Though I saw some issues with fast moving action on the screen. Its hard to desribe as I dont know the exact words, but in any scene where there was fast action the Pioneer for some reason did not scale it properly. The 3D effect on the Pioneer is absolutely stunning.
By the way, ABT Electronics is a major scam house in Illinois. Their prices are very high and sales people are like those from used car sales lot.
