Where to buy Delta-FL subflooring rolls

Hello -

Just getting started (and apologies if this is in the wrong section) and I think I'm going to use Delta-FL as a base on my concrete floors and then OSB or TiG plywood over the top of that before carpet. But, I can't find out where to buy the Delta-FL from.

I'm in Hamilton, OH; any help appreciated.

Print off the contacts page of the Delta-Fl website and take it with you to Lowes. They can order it. They may not be familiar with the product, but with the contacts information (phone number of the company) they can figure it out.

If they say "we don't carry it." Ask them to call the company. The company will tell them exactly how to order it within the Lowe's computer system.

Worked for me.

Also, don't forget to order the tape for the seams.

Good luck.

Edit: My father lived in Hamilton for a few years back in the 80's. I spent a few summers up there. Nice little town.

An alternative to Delta-FL is System Platon. I installed 2500 sf in my basement. If you have a Menards close by, they sell it. Otherwise you can look at their website for other locations.

Instead of tape, they suggest a rubber tar / asphalt. A bit messier, but a lot cheaper. It comes in 2 sizes, a 7' wide roll and a 3 1/2' (or 3') roll.

It is very frustrating trying to order it from Lowes.
The contractor desk or the flooring department can do it.
Give them the following.

Mfg: Cosella-Dorken
Product: DELTA-FL
Model # 51050
Lowes SOS Item #: 132387

That's for the 5 X whatever roll, not the 4x8 sheets. The role was ~$160, don't forget at least your 10% off Lowes coupon.

Hope this helps.

My local lowes had it back where the carpet rolls hang off the walls so they do carry it. I used it under the sub floor in my HT. I also used a foam under layment on top of it before I put down the deck but not sure that really did anything

Looks like the ordering details have been covered already, but I thought I'd link you to this thread I started back when I was looking for underlayment... you might find some interesting info there.

There is a similar product called "Super Seal". It is made by a Canadian company.

http://www.superseal.ca/

One advantage is it is rated for a higher amount of load per square foot.

You can buy at Spycor online. Go to category 'basement refinishing' or 'concrete subfloor.' It ships free anywhere in the continental US.
