Xbox 360 only sending green through component

I have an Xbox 360 going into a Yamaha receiver via component cables, the official MS ones. It worked fine until yesterday when everything coming from the Xbox was suddenly tinted green. I unplugged all the cables, replugged them, hooked them up to another component input that another device was working correctly through and only green comes through. The one thing that tells me that it isn't obviously the cables is that when I switch inputs on the receiver all of the colors come through normally for a second before turning green. Anyone ever see anything like this or have any suggestions? I've tried shutting these components off for a while and turning them on in different orders but the green remains. I don't know anyone else who has an Xbox 360 so I can't borrow cables to test them. When connected through composite the colors are normal. I wish MS just had jacks in the back of the Xbox instead of their proprietary cable thing.

It is a very intense green.

I can't go directly into the TV, it's a projector. The connection to the projector is Component out of the receiver and VGA into the projector, using a cable with component on one end and VGA on the other. This worked until recently.

I do have another Tv with component inputs, I'll try going direct into that, that's a good suggestion, thanks.

The cables are definitely in the right plugs, I had noticed the green and blue confusion before. I tried plugging each color into the green plug but only the green cable displayed anything. I tried the green cable in the other two and no picture either. Very strange.

I'll try the other TV and if need be get another cable. It bugs me because this current cable is only maybe a month old.
