I could be wrong, but isn't the 91 lacking in something or other- the new DTS-MA or Dolby HD codecs for Blu Ray I think? My memory of last year's models that to have those you need to get at least a 92, the 1018 you mentioned or a VSX-01. (The 1018 and VSX-01 are this year's models of course...) I have a 94 and love it. I just got my parents a VSX-01 for about the same price you quoted for the 91. I bought them both from Will2 in Wisconson @ videogon.com. The VSX-01 isn't much more $$ than the 1018, has a two year warrenty since it's an "Elite" (the 1018 only has a 1 year) and has SVHS inputs, THX certified (the 1018 doesn't have these either.)http://cgi.videogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.p...040&class&3&4&
Newegg has a good price on the 1018, and also Pioneer has a discount on the 1018s, but they've gone in and out of stock over the last week or so.

If you already have a HDTV w/ HDMI you're going to love a video switching receiver. All my components utilize HDMI and the reduction of cables in my cabinet is a GODSEND! (despite the fact that the HDMI connector should have been designed as a locking connector.) Good luck!
