Does anybody know if the new pioneers will be able to accept a 1080p component video signal and convert in into a 1080p HDMI signal?

Also, does anybody know what the THD (total harmonic distortion, not trueHD) ratings are on the new lineup?

There are no 1080p component video sources, they only go up to 1080i at least in the U.S.

I will check out BB this weekend to see if the store has them. I may check both stores here in San Francisco, for both of them have a Magnolia section. However, one of the BB seems to have things sooner than the other at their respective Magnolia sections.

Haven't had the chance to set it up yet, since some problems came up this weekend, but hopefully I can have it up in within a week or 2 if I can get a new home entertainment room up and running ASAP.

When I google search the VSX-92TXH, this site says it has them available for sale www.newyorkwholesaleaudiovideo.com/.

Have they officially been released or is this just a case of New York City's famous longshoremen stealing another shipment off the docks?

Also, has anyone found an internet site yet from which you can download the manual?

No I did not call them.

Since I have already ordered and paid my local Hippo's for a VSX-82TSX, when they found out they could no longer get one, they promised to give me the VSX-92TXH for the same price.

I am just interested in trying to find out how much longer I will need to wait before it becomes available. It also would be nice if I could find a web site where the manual is available for download.

I am trying to see if there are any usb or firewire connections and if so which connector type so I can build in the correct cords via a keystone arrangement.

anyone know where I can find this out, or have a link to a picture of the rear of a 94?

I'm looking forward to this new Pioneer line up.

I've decided to replace my Yamaha RX-V1 for something a little more current. My how fast things change over the years.

I tried searching and found variations to my situation, but couldn't find my specific one.

Can I connect HDMI inputs (Directv, PS3) to the audio receiver and then have it output via component to my TV?

I'm not quite ready to swap out my RPTV that only has components inputs right now.

I know I can go component for PS3, etc.. but would like the ease of using HDMI.

It's too bad that the Pioneer Elite series doesn't support Dual HDMI or Dual Component out. Currently, I am running my Pio. Elite 56txi with Component Switch box and HDMI Switch boxes so I can run my sources against my Projector or Television. I just hate seeing all the connections. Given that the newer Denon and Marantz will support Dual Component and HDMI, I am not sure why Pioneer decided not to.

I guess my next Receiver upgrade will be on of the others as Dual outputs is something I have been waiting for.

Just hooked up my Pioneer Elite VSX-91TXH... putting it through its paces now - Elton John's GBYBR SACD sounds great

I'll have some thoughts to post tomorrow or Sunday...
I was surprised at the copper screws they used... a nice touch

Magnolia Hi-Fi (BB) in Scottsdale, AZ

92's (and 94's) are still 2-4 weeks out - they have the 90 and 91.

That's not true! The Xbox 360 can send 1080P over component. The question stands:
