I agree with you; and I did.

Mine wasn't

... she was really hoping I would pick up either the LFM Plus or EX last night; I had been waiting for this sale anxiously for over a week and been waiting to pick up a decent Sub for my new HT setup for a while now. I figured I'd wait till Black Friday and hopefully score a deal.

Not only was I not able to access your site when the sale went live but I had to find out through numerous forums that you weren't including any of your subs in the private sale and that was a big disappointment to many people. I was really looking forward to purchasing your subs and hope you reconsider making some of your subs available to us in the private sale.

I don't think that we were looking for prices that would set the world on fire, just the previous sale prices on a few subs.
+1
Couldn't agree with you more; this wasn't childish whining & whimpering, I think this was a major & serious business flaw that Outlaw executed last night. They would have sold a ton of Subs last evening if they had thought this out properly. Nobody was looking for world-on-fire prices ... I think everybody was looking for a bone.
The site down part I can understand -- I don't honesly think they anticipated the response they got. I work in the Web Server field myself and unexpected things happen! But the fact that they got more traffic then they expected (or could handle) is severe tastament that their "Sale" was an Epic Fail! Almost nobody I know was looking for anything but a Sub ... no one I know was looking for anything that was on the Sale list. It's like advertising a Big Super Secret Door sale at your local BMW dealership and handing out Windshield Wipers & Air Freshners for your car for people holding a "Special" Reservation Ticket and standing outside in the line for hours!! It doesn't make sense ... and will garner nothing but annoyance & discredit. It's natural. It's part & process of human expectancy. You really can't call this whimpering.
Polk Direct's eBay store had been advertising in big bold font face on their website for the last week "Black Friday Deals Begin November 24th". They gave small discounts like $75 ~ $35 & free shipping on most of their flagship speakers ... it was slightly dissapointing but it does not compare to Outlaw. You know why? Because (a) they did not send me Super Secret Door Registration Keys & Invites -- raising my expectation levels to extremely high!! (b) despite the fact that the discounts were not as big as I may have liked, at least they did discount their main products that most people, including myself, would have been interested in.
This was just a flawed decision/effort at Outlaw's part. This won't stop me from buying their products or hating them or anything; that would be childish. But I sure as heck am going to crib about it. It sucks!!
