Yup, saw that and completed it as well. Hopefully it's not too late for this offer.

Offer is available to everyone...just click on the "December Holiday Offers" banner ad on the home page for Outlaw.

Was able to get it. Thanks all for the help. $499 shipped - and to think I almost ordered at full price last week! For once being a procrastinator was a good thing!

will the LFM 1 PLUS play nicely if mated with a LFM EX?
^^
Yes...they play nice with each other.

Aren't they very similar or the same inwardly? The box of the EX is larger which, if I understand correctly, helps it go slightly lower. They should go well together.

Would the plus work well with BIC pl200? Thx

My room is 3500 cu feet sealed. I currently have a pair of Boston Acoustics VR975 as fronts. These speakers have an integrated active 10" sub with a 12" radiator and rated at 125watts If I recall correctly. They're ok just for mid bass.

I just realized the LFM-1 Plus is currently on sale.
Should I go for just one or two? Is the EX a major improvement for my setup?

100% Home Theater, no music.

Thanks in advance guys.

The EX has slightly deeper extension, and will play slightly louder. Since the Plus is on sale it's the obvious choice, if the EX was the one on sale it would then be. I would definitely go for two, it really helps smooth out the response and gives additional output.

Thanks for the comment ... my only hesitation is a possible future sale on the EX ... mmhh .. decisions ... decisions.

Yes, lower and slightly more SPL as well...

They should go well together.

They do but if possible, I would get the same model...

I think my ex just bottomed out in The Hurt Locker

Edit: Could be the sub vibrating against the wood floor

Edit #2: found out the sub moved about 3 inches away from its original spot lol

Nope, pre-owned at $399 shipped! 9/10 condition with all original accessories, box, etc.

If I'm able to I'd like to add another LFM-1 Plus next year.

Hello Outlaw Owners. Id like to be a future member of the club, but I have one question regarding Outlaw's holiday sale. I really want to jump all over the deal for the LFM-1 Plus. I was almost about to get a Hsu VTF-2 MK4 for $612 shipped. From reading all of the reviews out there, the two subs appear to be equal in terms of actual performance and output. But for $499 all in, the LFM-1 Plus is the winner.

Does anyone know if Outlaw has a limited supply of LFM-1 Plus Subs and once they run out, the sale is over? Or, is the sale price definite until the sale ends on 12/20?

My problem is that I will not be around next week to sign for the sub when it is delivered to my home. The week after is the week of x-mas and new years and I will be home all week to sign and receive the sub. See, if there are limited quantities, Id just buy it right now and be done with it. But, if I could wait, till say Monday to make the purchase, by the time the order is processed and shipped (i live in NY), it would probably arrive the week when I would be home.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can order from them by phone. Just call 'em. Very nice people. I would imagine that they would be happy to take your order now and wait a week to ship.

You could have it shipped to a FedEx/Kinko's location as well. They might hold it for you too.

Is there any free shipping special or something like that from Outlaw?
I was excited to see the combo deal of two EX's for $1,198, put them in the cart and then got a big surprise on the shipping charges.

I know there is a special going on the Pluses but was wondering if should wait for future sale or offer on the EX's.

My budget is maxed out at $1200 (coming from $1k)

Greatly appreciate your input please .... wait or not?

Thanks.
Well I just put my order for 2 LFM1-Plus ... I think I won't miss the added extension of the EX's for my type of setup ...$998 shipped is a great deal.

Or you could have it shipped to my house. I'll break it in while you figure out a way to get here.

I don't know about EX's, but they have at least a couple of sales a year on the Plus with free shipping. I bought one in Oct. 2009 and another one on Black Friday this year.

Also, if you need a smaller item like a wireless or cables, put in your comment if you'd like something other than FedEx ground shipping, since you can't seem to select that online. I bought a wireless receiver and it was only about $9 extra for 2nd day air, after they contacted me via email to confirm that.

Haha, thanks Smudge. I appreciate the offer to use your home as the delivery point for my LFM-1 plus. But in the end, I just called Outlaw, ordered it, and asked them to ship it so that it would arrive the week after x-mas. Spoke to a wonderful person named Jennifer, and she arranged it all. I actually called her once in the morning to place the order, and then later in the afternoon to confirm my shipping address and she even remembered me! Go Outlaw!

Wow, I really forgot what "customer service" originally meant. I just figured the whole world is run by machines, levers, buttons, and some person on a phone at least 10,000 miles away from your present location.

Thanks for the comment and tip mrjktcvs,
I just received shipping confirmation from Outlaw for my 2 Pluses. Very excited!

Cheers,

I have a small room (1800 cubic feet). I just upgraded my speakers to ERA D14 (mains), D4 (rears) and 5 LCR (center). Next on the list is to upgrade the sub. It's currently a Mirage BP 150. My budget is around $500 so the Plus seems like a good option right now. Should I wait until the EX goes on sale, or would that sub be overkill in my room?

Thanks,

Dwayne
The Plus would be more than enough output for that size room. The only benefit in waiting for the EX would be a couple hz lower in low frequency extension. I'd get the Plus.

I really want to take advantage of the Outlaw holiday sale and get an LFM1 plus. I currently have an Emotiva Ultra 12. How will they do together if I run them as duals?

Well guys I finally did it. I ordered 2 - LFM-1 Pluses for the Sale price of $499 each with free shipping!!!

I was going to wait til tax returns but I couldn't pass up this sale. Now I was planning on ordering them in March which is when I'm getting my 7.0 BIC Acoustech Speakers. Right now I just have my old crappy Onkyo speakers. Should I hook up the LFM-1 Pluses when I get them or wait for the Acoustechs?
