Fact of the matter at hand. The money spent IMO is the most crucial decision. Could the EX be better for another hundred bucks? Yeah, but could another sub (or any other piece of HT equipment for that matter) be worth it? And after $100, what about another $200 or $400 for that matter. Maybe, but if you're still relatively new and technically inefficient (of which I'm both), the extra money may not be worth it. I tried to get in on the sale price on the EX last year. Outlaw got back logged with so many orders that I decided to go with the Plus on sale price instead. My jaw dropped to the floor when I picked the package up and even had to unbox it to fit in my car. I got my second Outlaw, an EX, because I was lucky enough to come across someone on this forum selling one that was nearby my location. Offer I couldn't pass up. For whoever is asking, and from an amateur in HT, get the second sub if your budget allows. Long post for the simple explanation that more bass=more
