Westinghouse 32' calibration help

I have a westinghouse SK-32H240S and im trying to calibrate using avia. Im wondering what color temp i should go with(warm, cool, neutral). Also I don't have the color glasses so how do I calibrate the color. Thats the biggest problem I have the picture is either to red or not vibrate enough when I adjust hue and saturation.

Do some searches for the color filters. You need to get them to adjust color. If you can turn off red and green primaries, do that and adjust using the blue bars pattern. If you trust your eyes (and you shouldn't) see if the color bars pattern 'looks right'.

Check the color temp by going to the gray steps pattern and pick the temp that gives the most neutral 'gray' steps. It is typically best to start with warm.

Be aware that the gray steps pattern has a slight (very, very slight) magenta tint to it. If you are running it with component (analog) unplug the red and blue cables of the component input.

I got this TV after twice returning the 32w6 model due to the screen freezing up problem. This time I got the 4 year service plan from Best Buy. I have not calibrated it with anything other than the THX settings application on my Pirates of the Caribbean DVD. Even with that, I'm not that happy with the Component input calibration (I have an older DVD player, 480p output, no HDMI).

As for OTA I just could not get the flesh tones to my liking and the yellows were somehow not rich enough. I searched around and found a website where someone posted their settings. Thank GOD! I tried those settings and, after a couple of tweaks here and there, I am extremely pleased with the picture. Here is what I have:

Brightness: 55
Contrast: 53
Saturation: 25
Hue: 45
Sharpness: 41
Backlight: 1
Dynamic Contrast: 1
Flesh Tone: 2
Green Boost: 0
Blue Boost: 0

Hope this helps someone.
