BB Price Match Question

I have a quick question. I bought the HD-A2 and Matrix set from Best Buy yesterday. I now pick up the Circuit City ad and I see that they have the promotion for buy the A2 and Matrix set and you get 2 free hd dvds.

Should I be able to just go into BB and get the 2 free DVDs? I read on their website where they said they will price match for up to 30 days (14 in some cases).

Anyone had luck doing this?

Yes Best Buy had this same deal a week ago, so they should match it. If not return your HD-A2 and go to Circuit City

I work at Best Buy in Colorado and technically we wouldn't match it because we can't match freebies or mail in rebates. But every store will be different, best advice, have unit in hand and let them know that if you don't receive the 2 hd-dvds that you will return it. They would rather take a 50 hit rather than a 300 and possibly lose a customer.

I must have a kinder, gentler Best Buy near me - they did this no questions asked.

Yes - I did this yesterday with just the recent and a copy of the ad. I got the Happy feet "combo" HD DVD/regular DVD ($34.99 retail) and Terminator 3 ($29.99 retail) for free.

wow, BB actually price matched somebody. I don't even bother anymore being that my local bestbuy's have declined me for so long that It became more of a hastle to ask for a pricematch than it was to buy the item somewhere else.
