i think you're right, isnt t-mobile supposed to add these to their kiosks? then you just grab 2 display phones and set them down on the counter, and all the info pops up.
i wonder if the "Surface" will use size/footprint recognition or if some digital devices will have an ID tag/chip inside that tells the "Surface" what do display?
and as far as displaying TV on the table, obviously at a sports bar that wouldnt be the ONLY display you had to look at, i know after a while my neck hurts from looking way up at the screen, so to look down in front of me while i snag a drink of beer in a small PIP window and not miss any action... that would be cool, even if it's just a complete novelty.
they could also incorporate display shifting, so no matter what side of the table you were on, whatever displayed is always right-side-up for you.
