A component cable that fits into Gamecube's standard A/V out?

Should I be suspicious of this product?

To my knowledge I've *never* seen such a cable spread on the market before. I'm guessing the SNES and N64 would benefit from such a cable, but fitting in the analog A/V out, would I be right in assuming it would not be compatible with activating 480p on Gamecube games?

-Ugh... it seems I can't get by the eBay filter. The first part of the URL is ebay without the % shoved in there.

one of two things is happening. either the seller is very confused, and that is a Wii cable (the ends are similar), or the cable has a cheesy transcoder built into it for converting s-video to component.

No way is that a component cable. It may be a RGB cable for europe or asia but there was never a component out on the SNES or N64. The GC needed a special cable that had to be ordered from nintendo and the plug head was different. I own one and i am pretty sure its not.

I have modded some asian RGB cables to use with a RGB converter to Component video board from JROK. That is the only way i know of to get component out of those systems.
