Cant decide between sharp D62 or D92

I know that the D62 has the banding issue. But the ones I have seen are gorgeous. I have read that the d92 have a higher contrast ratio, and have less of a banding problem. Any advice out there? I have my heart set on the 52" model, the d92's look nice but are pricey, and I was also wondering if the banding problem has been resolved. Any advice? It's such a turn off to be in love with these TVs and hear about so many issues.

I want to know toooo.. cant decide. the difference in price is MAJOR though.

does 4 wavelengths on the 62u versus 5 wavelengths on the 92u make a difference?

hmm seems everyone has the same problem? Is it true that the d62 have more banding issues then the D92

I found out that the 92u is just a newer version of the 62u. It also have 5 wavelength compared to 4 wavelength (not even sure what that means) And it has the 120 z frequency, which I am not sure what it is either?
