Specs on PC:

FX5500 AGP8X 256MB
Older NForce2 Board w/ Athlon 1800+

Using a HDMI-2-DVI Cable
***I tried to post a link but my post count is low......***

Got a Hitachi 50v720 55"

Ok, I have been messing around with all the settings & can't get a decent picture for the life of me. The picture is incredibly blurry (text is barely legible) as though the TV is recieving an RCA or S-Video input... not a digital interface.

I have been using the NVidia Software to mess around with screen resolution, gamma, contrast... Is there anyway I can get my PC to display with a quality similar to say a standard 19" LCD?!?!?

How can HDTV, Gears of War, etc. look so good & yet this HDMI/DVI input coming from a GeForce look so bad? I know these are noobish questions, I have tried searching around for specific answers, but can't seem to locate any info that helps me. I appreciate any help thrown my way... a link, a short explanation or common probably cause or inability of this equipment to output a "good signal".

Thanks!!!

I tried a DVI to HDMI connection from my PC and never got it to display anything. The manual stated something about the HDMI connection not acception a computer signal. I used a VGA to Component device instead. Good Luck.
