OK, not surprized by that (wasn't 100% sure but kinda figured that . . . like I said, that was just my ideal situation). I'm not at all opposed to running a seperate set of component cables from the HD/DVR outputs to a set of the 605's component inputs, and then running another set from the 605's component outputs to the TV's component inputs along side the HDMI run from the box to 605 and 605 to the projector. But is that even possible with the whole HDCP thing? That's what I'm unclear on and not sure how to pull off if it is possible (based on Sgooter's comments above).
