65HM167 or HL-T5687S? Expert advice for tomorrow needed

This is my last question. I will be buying one of these tvs tomorrow. The Samsung 5687s sounds great and looks great with LED technology. The Toshiba is huge and seems good and is much, much cheaper for a huge screen. The only bad thing is the Toshiba runs with a bulb. If you guys had to decide, which would be the better bet to get? I hope to get some of your expert advice as tomorrow I will be making this purchase. I want the nicest, longest lasting tv for the money. The 65" screen is nice, but I can deal with 57" as right now I am slightly leaning towards Samsung. Thanks!!!

Are you just worried about the bulb? They are suppose to last 6000-8000 hours (5 something years if 4 hours every day). If it's cheaper then you can always use that savings to buy another bulb and/or an extended warranty that includes bulb replacement to make the tv last as long as the LED. Even with an LED tv, who knows if they'd fail premature, then it could even be more costly to replace and regular warranties probably still consider it a consumable like a bulb.

I know I wouldn't let a bulb stop me from getting a tv I might prefer over another just because it has LED (unless rainbows really bothered you). What's $280 or less for a new bulb in 4 years? I'll probably be dieing for the next best tv by then. And seeing how any rear projection can have issues it's a given to get a warranty and one that includes bulb replacement incase it goes out early, which you'd have to make sure is covered even on a LED DLP tv.

But if 57 inches is all you need, the Samsung is nice but don't forget the warranty and double check that LED is covered because replacing a bad LED might require replacing more like the light engine or whatever and end up being much more costly than bulbs if it does fail.

Thanks for the advice. I also wanted to make sure the Toshiba is as good as the Samsung. It just seems like too good ofa deal. The bulb bothers me, but wouldn't stop me from getting it. I've heard the bulbs sometimes aren't as bright. It just seems like the Toshiba must be missing something the Samsung has, but I didn't see anything.
