Can't decide between several Sharp and Sony TV's...

Hey, I was looking at TV's at Amazon and I found several TV's that appeared were the same size but just different prices and model numbers.

They are these 2 Sony's:

Sony-KDL-52XBR3

Sony-KDL-52XBR2

and these 3 Sharps:

Sharp-Aquos-LC52D92U-LCD

Sharp-Aquos-LC52D82U-LCD

Sharp-Aquos-LC52D62U-LCD

Also, what about this Samsung and Toshiba?

Samsung-LNT5265F

Toshiba-52HL167

I really do not have any clue as to the differences of these TV's. I know the model numbers are different, but didn't know if it was marketing hype. For example, all the Sharp Aquos are the same size and resolution, but all different model numbers.

However, recommendations is what I'm really looking for, of these 5 TV's, which are the strongest performers? Are the more expensive TV's going to perform better?

I know thats a lot of TVs and will take a bit of time to look through. So thanks in advance for all that do take the time to help me. Its appreciated.
