I think the movie has more pop to it than the SD DVD and the dark sets look fine because most of that is director's intent and all. Either way I'm not regretting it anyway. I could play a few of those scenes over and over again. Yes I know it's not realistic for Bale to not get shot at all, but that's why it's entertaining. I'm going to grab one of the custom English covers and use one of my blank cases I bought new for backup and put the movie together right. Get it before it's gone. Good luck.

I agree. It is a well done encode and looks really nice. I really enjoy the movie and can't see any thing that detracts from it. So if a bluray version came out, I do not think I would buy it, unless it was an highly improved version, which i doubt would ever happen. :-)

I did not know it was so scarce, guess it might be. I think its an improvement over the DVD IMO. As far as a collectors item, depending on how much you like the movie, you can always buy another copy. Or if you are worried about this one getting scratched or something, just do like i do with my movies i watch frequently and put them on a media server
That would solve your problems.
