I would have to agree with Kevin. Back in the day, Jap pressings could sound better I think due to the equipment used, but anymore I think its just a Jap pressing of the same disc. I do own a Jap pressing of DSOTM as well as a Mobile Fidelity Gold and they sound, as far as I can tell, identical. I have a Jap pressing of WYWH (yellow cover with 2 dudes shaking hands)as well as a Harvest labeled WYWH with a black cover instead. THAT Jap pressing seems a little less noisy, to my ears anyway. I have a Jimi Hendrix Jap pressing of Electric Ladyland with naked chicks al over the cover instead of a pic of Jimi....stuff like that. Discs like Abbey Road and Iron Maidens first 2 came out in the Jap pressings long before I could find them on their respective american labels. Hey, but the labels are cool and you paid more than you should've, but who cares!!!LOL
