It says that the prices are close to MSRP on the website. I wanted to know his bottom dollar. I wonder if the M6005 speakers are a lot better than the Diva 6.1. I like that the M6005 has a ribbon tweeter, but I like that the Diva has 2, 8" woofers.

well well. after seeing those. had they been available at the time.
i still would have went with the 6.1's.
though i am sure they are fine speakers. especially those 6005.

Does anyone know when the new line of Swans PC speakers are coming out in the USA: H4 and H5.

Also, I see that the M50W is now available. Any reviews?

Those M6005 look like the M6, hope to get a review soon.

I sure would like to get peoples impressions of these new lines against the 6.1. Especially the 6.0F and the D50F. Knowing people from CP may not be completely objective, I'd still like their opinions.

I'm very interested in this as well, Actually how all of them Compare to the 6.1s.

Has anyone compared Swan speakers with SVS MTS-02. Both companies think their speakers are better. The 6.1 Diva speakers are way cheaper than the SVS. I am also considering the Swan F2F speakers. I can buy these for just a little more than the MTS-02 speakers. The F2F speakers are the ultimate line, and they look pretty awesome. They have way more drivers than the SVS, but then again the more drivers the harder it is to integrate properly with crossovers. What is everyone's opinion?

I was looking for the M50W a few months ago, but ended up with the D1080MKII 08's instead. I would have loved to try them. I talked with Jon @ TAI and I believe that they may carry the H series in the near future...maybe give them a call.

hey, that looks great. about all you need now is a larger monitor.

These models, along with the HSub and HSub10, were awaiting CE approval. That's been solved and now they're on the way.

I got my swan RM600HT set this week. Ordered from Cleveland Plasma. Chris was great to deal with and I recommend if you are in the market for Swans. I still need to finish setting up and cleaning up the wiring. I want to listen some more before I give thorough impressions, but my initial impressions are very positive. The build quality and finish is top notch. Looks even better in person than in the online pictures. As far as sound, the clarity is just unbelievable and the imaging even more so. With two channel music listening the speakers just disappear and the sound just fills the space. I had to walk up to the other speakers (center/surrounds) to make sure the music wasn't being processed to the other channels.

^ very nice pics, The RM600 series looks amazing, Makes me want to see what the RM1000s are like. They look like a cross between Dynaudio contour cabinets and a Dali Helicon drive arrangement, I will be quite interested to hear how well the 50mm cone midrange and isodynamic ribbon tweeter are implemented. Very nice indeed!

I was wondering what is the difference between M200 MKiii and D1080MkII08 ?

One is almost half the price than the other. Is there a vast difference between sound quality, soundstage, etc? I dont want loudness. I want quality, soundstage, bass, instrument separation.

I am moving from Audioengine A2 and want to upgrade.

The D1080MkII08 are similar in power to your A2s, though I'm sure they probably sound better.

Still, IMHO, I highly recommend the M200MkIII. They are three times the power. This extra power doesn't just mean loudness, as I find the power helps quality at all volumes. The M200MkIII simply sound fantastic at low and higher volumes with excellent across the board response, including very good bass. Being fairly portable, I use them at parties and always get great responses from people. Their ability to really fill a modestly larger room adds to the versatility. So you know, my taste in music is quite varied including jazz, classical, alternative, dance and rock. The M200MkIIIs fit the bill for it all.

We just had the opportunity to compare all the active and powered Swan speakers: the D1010 is a clear notch above the Audioengine A2 (we sell both, for clear disclosure!), and the D1080 is quite close in general performance to the Audioengine A5.

For us, the real star of the range is the M200 II: it's much more exciting and revealing than the D series, and not a million miles away from the Mark III, which is distinguished subtly by more sophisticated amplification. Pound for pound, the Mark II is shockingly good value.

Obviously the T200B's magnesium midrange driver lifts it to a higher level, at a higher price. We're working on a detailed review for our web site, but that's it in a nutshell.

Ah, I see you have an image attached somehow to this post, but I can't view it? Anyone else have this problem?

What were the differences you noticed between the Red Dragon mono blocks and the Emotiva ones?

Wow! Just discovered Swan speakers this morning via an add here at AVS.

Do they sound as good as they look? I'm looking at the Diva 4.2 set at the moment. I can't believe that they can make a speaker that looks that good and sell it for that price without some sort of compromise.

Sure looks like a better deal than many other ID speakers. Just when I thought I new what I wanted these come along and I'm back to serious waffling. :-(

I may be budget limited (building a new house that is already running over budget) so my HT budget is dwindling.

Currently looking at DT BP Supertowers, center and surrounds for the high end budget, NHT Classic 3s and Classic Zeros for the lower end.

The Diva 4.2 towers, center and surround aren't much more than the NHT system and look WAY nicer.

So if anyone has some advice or info on the Divas vs any of the speakers I've mentioned, Aperion too as I'm looking at them too, but not to crazy about the rear ported design as I need to keep the fronts pretty close to the wall.

are the d50's and diva 5.0 the smae internals packaged in different boxes? they look like they have the same pricing... (and maybe the same drivers)

Hey guys, I am waiting for the Diva 6.1s to be available again for an upgrade from my current Mirage OM9/OMC2 setup. I have dual HSU VTF2.3s as well. I am assuming I'd get much more details from Diva compared to Mirage, but am concerned about the C3 center channel (compared to OMC2) . How they stack up against each other? Has anybody gone through similar upgrades or listened to both these speaker sets?

never heard a omc2. but by looking at the specs and pics, i wouldn't buy it.

but i can say the C3 is a darned good center.

Hi!

New to this forum and discovered this huge Swans owner´s thread today and figured I had to join

My setup consists of Swans F1.1F, 2.3C and 2.3R, subs are twin SVS PC13 Ultra.

I have an incredibly good sounding Norwegian amplifier (Doxa) hooked up to the front speakers, but out of curiosity, what is common to use among you guys?
