I'm thinking of getting the m200 mkiii, but since I have very limited space I was wondering if these speakers require space behind them or would it be ok to have the wall right behind it?

Also since I'll be using them in a very small room, they might be a bit overkill, would these be the best choice if I want quality sound for a small room?

Also would I need/benefit from a DAC if I'll be using it from a Asus Z87-Pro motherboard most of the time (ipod classic and android phone during other times) or would it be enough to get the most out of these speakers?

Thanks for the help!

They have a rear port, so at least some distance is warranted. I would say 4 inches would affect them too drastically, but 10 would be better.

10 inches is a lot of space that I don't have, I may not even have the 4 inches for it. Would foam in the port help in this case? Or would I be better off just looking for other speakers?

They come with foam plugs. That would help, and should be ok if the room is not large.

Any Diva 8.3 owners out there? I am interested in these, but I can't seem to find any reviews or information on them. They seem to be available in the US now. Have any of you given them a test drive?

Here's a pic of an 8.3 pair next to the 6.3 (which looks disappointing compared to previous models in the 6 series). The 8.3 Divas look beautiful. Once again, has anyone listened to them?

Could somebody take a look at these Swans and give me a little insight about them? They have been listed for quite awhile so the guy would probably take less for them. Thanks! It's hard to find any info on Swan speakers.

Thanks. Is that a good price? How old do you think they are?

Do the 6.1's come with spikes for carpet? I have the speakers now with the pads on my hard woods but will be moving soon and will have carpet. I can't remember if they came with spikes. Thanks!

That's a fair price to me. I sold some 5.1's, 2.1's and a C3 in BC vinyl a couple of years ago for $950. Those are the earlier version with the top mounted tweeter in the center speaker.

I'm sure they did. Any carpet spikes would work as I think they ara a universal fit.
