Is this the one with destructible environments. Unlike most games where you shoot the wall and it does no damage, except a mark on the wall at most. No more just shooting out windows, blow up the whole building!!
I thought the graphics on the trailer were subpar, I kept wondering if the game was for PSP. Maybe it is just the trailor did not look good and the game will look better.
Holy thread revival Batman! Anyways I was impressed at the demo or as it was
first demonstrated back in 2006-07. But now it looks like a cartoon and I lost my
appetite for this. It looks bland. So bland.
I think they changed the direction of the game ever since it was first demo. It looks totally
different compare to initial demo. So after COD4 I think the best you can do is rent.
hmmm, got it n my goozex queue, so still might get it through there. I like good WWII FPS with good stories, but this one seems to have fallen off everybodies radar.
Been playing it over the past couple of days (360 version).
Nice looking environments. Painfully typical situations. Sub-par enemy AI. Decent squad AI. Impossible to follow the storyline unless you've played prior games in the series. Crappy looking facial textures and animations during the cinematics. All these white boys look alike, so it's impossible to keep the characters straight, especially since they're all in uniform. Basic squad controls work well, but the shooting and cover controls are pretty wonky.
Worth your time if you're a fan of the series or of WWII shooters. Otherwise, don't bother.
I've been playing the game since yesterday ( 360 version ), and I think it is quite good. If you liked the previous versions, I think you will really like this version. I think the graphics over all are well done, but the sound is really nice. If you've never payed this series, or are not the typical WW2 fan, rent it first.
I've been thinking about picking this up, as I am a huge fan of WW2 shooters. I have never played any of the Brothers In Arms games, however. Is the squad control difficult or distracting or something?

No, it is not bad. Once you get used to the controls, it's pretty good. I actually like controlling my squads, trying not too get them whiped out!
