8-bit Y'CbCr normally uses these ranges.
16 <= Y' <= 235
16 <= Cb <= 240
16 <= Cr <= 240
The CP-283HD uses these ranges for Y'CbCr.
16 <= Y' <= 228
20 <= Cb <= 236
20 <= Cr <= 236
The ranges are smaller, so some colors are clipped.
For example, the color (Y'=63,Cb=102,Cr=240) is a bright highly-saturated red, and the CP-283HD clips it to (Y'=63,Cb=102,Cr=236). However, the color (Y'=173,Cb=42,Cr=26) is a bright highly-saturated green, and the CP-283HD does not clip it, because it is within the smaller ranges.
