I wonder what more
a professional TV calibrator can do, beside adjusting the brightness, contrast, tint, color, etc. that we can do by ourselves.
Here I have a few more questions:
1. Do they have any special equipment, or they solely base on their own eyes ?
2. Is it right to rationalize like this: if someone share those settings (brightness, contrast, etc.) with other, so everyone can get the optimal PQ. I understand that the environment of each person is not the same; but don't you think that the environment may be slightly changed too, like day and night, seating distance, the sources may vary too. In other words, I can use the same settings with one of my friend having the TV calibrated, and get a great picture without a help of a professional calibrator, right ?
3. Beside the dvdguru's comment, does anyone else have any say on the professional calibration. Is it worth ?

As he told me, it's like having a true reference monitor in your home like the studios use. The color is just spot on and bests any plasma I've seen.
He also calibrated my audio and made a huge difference in that as well. He found that my center channel was out of phase due to switched wires INSIDE the center channel. UGH, you'd think paradigm would correctly wire its' $1200.00 center channel speakers
The midrange, phase, seamlessness and all around quality of the sound is much better now so I'm a satisfied customer
If you have a Kuro (especially an Elite) call UMR for a calibration as it really does take it to the full abilities of these amazing tv's. Thanks again UMR!
