Multi-Channel Super Audio Radio

I just installed a Sony MEX-DV2000 SACD/radio and it is superb!

I installed it in my 01 PT Cruiser. The OEM speakers sound superb with this new unit; great bass. The unit sports bass management, but that is mostly applicable if you are using the 5.1 analog outputs. I use the built in 4 channel amps. When set for high resolution SACD output you loose the bass management and the digital timing alignment functions. But remenber, I only paid $200 for a high powered unit that will play multi-channel SACD audio, and video DVD's and the multi-channel DTS and Dolby Digital audio encoded on DVD-Audio disks. If you want bass management at all times perhaps that hugely expensive unit Bose is offering is more your ticket.
