Did you clear out the reset info because if you did not this will keep occuring. I need you to check to see if the reset info is cleared. There should be only one entry in the reset info error tracker and it will have a current date. You have to enter the TVGOS diagnostics screen and then using your scroll pad arrow up one time and left one time. Here is the procedure to get to diagnostics:
To get to diagnostics you do this:
1: Press the TV guide button to open the guide
2: Press the menu button and then select "go to service bar".
3: Scroll over to settings and press select.
4: Highlight "change systems settings" and enter this code 753159852. This will bring you into the guides diagnostics. Use your scroll pad to navigate through the menus. Up and down will take you to each different page and left and right will take you to the different sub pages of each section.
Don't worry you can't change nothing in the diagnostics or hurt the tv in any way.
5: To exit diagnostics just hit the info button and this will bring you back to change system settings in the guide or hit the TV Guide button on the remote and this will exit the guide completely.
Here is a more detailed procedure to do the reset:
Using the remote:
1: Turn tv on. Press TV Guide button
2: press menu button on remote and a box will pop up on the left side of the guide. Using scroll pad, scroll up one step and highlight "go to service bar" and select it.
3: On top of the guide, listings should be highlighted in yellow. Using the scroll pad, scroll to the right 2 times and settings will be highlighted in yellow. Press the select button.
4: This will bring you to "change system settings" and it will be highlighted in yellow. Do Not press the select button, just leave it highlighted in yellow.
5: Using the numbers on your remote slowly enter 111222333. In the info box it should say "Clear Reset Info". If it doesn't say that then scroll down one time to "change channel display" then scroll back up to "change system settings" and enter the code again.
6: If you get the "Clear Reset Info" wait about ten seconds and then scroll down one time to "change channel display" and the scroll back up one to rehighlight "change systems settings" and enter this code 653274147. It will appear that nothing is happening but wait about ten seconds and the guide should disappear on its own. If not then scroll down one time to "change channel display" and then scroll back up one and rehighlight "change systems settings" and reenter the reset code.
7: Once the guide disappears the tv will shut it self off after 10 or 15 seconds and you will see the blue light blinking 12 times a cycle. Let it blink about 3 cycles and turn the tv back on and let it on for about 5 minutes and then turn it back off so it can reload the guide data.

You only will ever need to use the system reset, clear reset info, and diagnostics codes. I do not recommend you to try the other codes.
Be patient and you don't have to speed through the process. There is no time limit to do this reset.

A page back in this thread I posted the procedure to reset the whole tv back to its factory defaults. I have never done this myself but others have.http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showp...ostcount=12638
I had this same problem with the tv turning off repeatedly, sometimes 3 or 4 times in one evening. Clearing the reset info first and then do the TVGOS reset solved the problem.
My RCA DLP was doing this a lot when I first bought in early 2005 and when I figured out this reset procedure, now it does this only once in a while. My two Pioneer 5010s and the RCA will occasionlly do this when Rovi is messing around with the data stream. I do know that Rovi has been doing tweaks to the data since late January, and my tvs has also shutdown a couple of times since then.
You could try calling Pioneer to see what the say but as long as the tv turns back on after it shuts off they will say that this is normal.
