Gentlemen I have read as many posts as I can about the 8G Pioneers, but I have questions that owners of the 8G Pioneers, particularly the Elite models may can answer. I did my research and at Christmas I replaced my Hitatchi 51" with a fireplace and in Jan 08 saw the Pro-110 go on a $1000 price break at BB and snagged it. It is mounted on a $600 articulating mount from Magnolia and all of my components are in a AV closet in the center of the house. The 110 has a PS3, Regular DVD I was using for Dixv/Xvid, Dish Sat box, FTA Sonic View box all connected with HDMI. The other connects are OTA antenna for OTA HD and Ethernet. Since getting the TV I have been fighting the "Blue Blinking Light 12 times" which is certainly related to the TV guide. I use the guide so I do not want to disable it. After adjusting the antenna for optimum reception this has lessonned, but Fox 54 which is transmitted on channel 45 or 47 is not working good, but only on the 110, no other decoders or TV's in the house have any issues with it. On the 110 Fox is signal strength 76 and glitches where ABC is 40 and flawless. I have contacted Pioneer and finally got a direct contact from a field engineer out of Atlanta GA helping me. I send him jpegs of the service menu and the engineers at pioneer have been emailing me instructions of things to change (yes in the service menu, SCARRY). The other POS on my 110 is the media gallery is horrible , it drops frames on my moves so that they look like strobes or scarry movies even on a ethernet line, my PS3 plays the same movie flawless on wifi. So if anyone has any info they can share on these issues, please let me know before I rip it off the wall and through it out the door...help! Frustrated in Columbus, Georgia.
