Samsung LE-40M61B - DVI/HDMI connection

I've been looking for a solution to this for a long time, as it's really annoying that I can't get this to work. Has anyone successfully connected their HTPC to the Samsung LE-40M61B TV over the HDMI-connection?

I have tried, but the picture is either too small or too large. It seems the TV will only accept standard resolutions like 720P, 1080P etc. Since the TV is 768*1366, this will not work. Is there a workaround that does not include too much tweaking with Powerstrip etc.?

Hdmi will only accept limited resolutions, you should refer to your manual.

I have a LEM86BD

Via hdmi, 60hz shows underscan, 70 hz doesnt, but i think that is a problem with the ati drivers.

Make sure you know what your tv supports and then config powerstrip exactly, if you need to and you card supports it

ok then, if you go into the advanced menu system, there is an overscan compensation tool that you can use to fix the resolution issues, and basically negates the need for powerstrip.
