Starship Troopers and Air Force One in Japan 8/21

Both are Disney releases, so PCM 5.1 audio.

Japan is Region 1, so if you can't wait for Sony to get off their ass and put them out in the US, importing is an option.

Just saw a (I believe) new HD transfer of ST on our comcast cable OnDemand.
Looked pretty good...

Thanks for the heads up Josh. Will definitely import both if there's no news on a U.S. release by then.

I love that movie, but it makes me feel dirty for doing so.

All this overseas activity bodes well for the fall/winter release slates here in the U.S. I want lots of Blu-rays to choose from for the holidays!

I was thinking the same. I can already see I'll be spending much more on 'me' than 'others' this season.

I actually watched it this past Saturday with Comcast On Demand. I was only going to watch a few minutes, but I have't seen it in years and ended up watching the whole thing.

Where do you guys typically buy your BD imports from, since Xploited doesn't carry them? I'd love to get Starship Troopers...

You can preorder Starship Troopers now from Amazon Japan. With shipping to the States it runs a whopping $45!

It's an UGLY planet! A BUG planet....!!!

Nice. Thanks, guys. I've dealt with YesAsia once before - when I bought Equilibrium. I'd forgotten about them, since I've been using Xploited for so long.

Amazon Japan can be switched to mostly English, but it is hard to decipher sometimes
