I had DirecTV for years, but it just got too expensive. Switched to FIOS a year or so ago mostly to save money on combined Internet + TV, and also for more reliable Internet (had been using RoadRunner, but it dropped way too often) - now a year in, of course all the discounts are gone, and given how much and what we watch, it's getting harder and harder to justify. Need to really assess what we would miss, and come up with an alternative way to get it (OTA + streaming services).
